2. Ella and the Valley of Bliss
We dewlt together in seclusion
In a valley of bliss
Heaven on earth like Garden of Eden
Where footsteps of humans never trodden
Beneath the pleasant warm rays of the sun
That spread orient beams in the morn
Pon the fruits, flowers and trees nurturing
The bedewed glittering fertile earth
Till twilight grey nightfall call
Who outspreads her silver mantle
Adorned with glowing sapphire
A starry host each in stations stirless
Gloriously forever shinning
In jeweled clouded sky their rose
The moon in pale sober rays
A magnificent sight to behold
The pale moonlight unveils her beauty
A poetic spell, a sleeping grace
Lulled by the sweet music of the night
The celestial notes of the nightingale
Where she slept our love was loyal and pure
Here reigns the spirit of love with golden wand
Shooting shafts of light chaste and holy
And wings that wave sparkling fairy dust
Oh how I pine to avenge thee!
All women kind on man’s evil ways
I would tear through their under and entrails
And crush their skulls into dust with bare hands
(and how I would laugh)
Free from the vanities of man’s evil cities
Where men are driven by adulterous lust
Breathing its impure and corrupted air
Earth’s rapist’s more savage than bestial herds
(YOU FILTHY MEN!)
The breath taking beauty of the vale
Thousand of forest trees in canopy high
To where one trods crushes to death
Millions of fragrant flowers beneath ones feet
To where the vale layed
In surrounding hills
Cloaked in the thickest of grass
Perfumed with flowers
Which only found in England
And rising high mountains
Bounding the hills
Dimly shading the vale
Through mazy courses there crawled a river
Among the hills and to the dim mountains
Merging with many a brooks and rivulets
And the tall towering pines that girdle
When the pearly jeweled night sky and moon
Casts their light pon the hushed river water
Where Ella gazes their glistens than
A beauty more dazzling than Seraphim
Flowers in radiant full bloom
That perfume the gales virgin Earth
Sweeter than all save Ella’s heart
With veins overflowing with love
She was a maiden true and pure
A naiad among the crystal waters
Caroused in a fountain of life
Sylph with peerless exquisite beauty
An angel in rapture days
A change therein fell upon the vale
Strange mighty uncanny growth swelled all
Dormant elements of life sprung and burst
Writhing and uncoiling hungrily
To Ella the vale and changes mimics
Her rapid increase in maturity
I pored over her beautiful fervent form
That grew in turgid paces into my heart
Lo a crawling phantom intrudes the vale
Spectral shadow shrouded with long cerements black
Ghastly corpse countenance dabbed with blood
A scalp of hideously drooping grey hair
A gaunt figure minimum 6 foot 6
With piercing glistening hollow eyes
Icy stares that chill the very marrow of my bones
Utter gloom pervades all my senses
Like a black plague it infected all
The greenery and flowers withered
There sprang thorns and dark purple violets
An atmosphere that reeks of decay
Boundless gloom and sorrow held dominion
The stars in heaven hath ceased to look down
Virgin Mary weeps eternal tears
In dew from tree tops that descend in diamonds
And so death has touched Ella’s bosom…
4. Ella and the Valley of Blight
By an obscures route in gray titan woods
Ghastly shadows hanging upon the trees
Owls and ravens perched high on stems
Peering down through the darkness in pale grim eyes
Night on black throne reigns the vale…
The nightingale sung her final notes
Who flew sadly away from the vale
That once lulling divine melody
To which beauty sleeps so tranquilly holy!
That faded away into a dirge
Tainted with terror in eerie tones
Of croaking ravens and hooting owls
To which I shudder a sinking iciness
Desolated silent Thule
Oh the river spreads in perturbed silence
Insufferable unquiet solitude
Ill scene that tortures me into madness
Which human words thwart to describe
Unearthly sensation of its silent waters
That oozed in blood in scarlet horror
Stretching evermore into the mist
To the dim toppling mountain pinnacles
Columned by hoary horrible gray trees
Stretching long crooked ghastly necks
Rustling and rocking hither and thither
Sighing sadly of their desolation
Beneath the lurid eyes of the sun
The bloody rivers poisonous water
A sickly filthy hue that where she looks
Deeply lies her demonic deathly image
Her bed lay in a myriad of violets
Darkly wined mournfully sighing to each other
Writhing restlessly and soddened with dew
That descend from her bright waning eyes
Death upon her eyes
I was riveted in horror
As she fought for her life with the shadow
Glassy pupiless marbled eyes staring
How I wish I never beheld them!
Her body an icy chilliness
The hues of life flushed and livid
Helpless prey watching in terror
In grief to her emaciation
Her love how unworthily bestowed to me
Pouring out my devoted heart to her
For hours I clutched her so tightly
As if no human nor death could cleave
She oppressed me as if in a spell
Watching her yield to the conqueror death
My blood ran cold within my frame
Sickened with the long morbid bitter hours
How I longed for her decease
Her fragile spirit barely clinging
Groaning in anguish at her sight
Oh I would of soothed her if I could
Maddening with rage shrieking hoarsely
I demanded the shadows dwelling
My mental disease grew upon me
Intoxicated like alcohol it worsened
Possessed with a fury more than a demon
Bitterness welled up in absolute hatred
Inflamed with vengeance for the shadow
The sole cause of my relentless misery
Night on black throne reigns the vale…
[Instrumental]
One Drowsy serene autumn eve
Sky tinted in golden red dusk
Slumbering heavy light
That weighed pon her eyelids
Beneath willows and cypress
On dead cold bristling leaves
Her coffin opening in embrace
She bid me by her side
A wish to harbor evermore
Ella
“Like an ephemeron flower am I
My days strung on a thread
My heart strings cruelly snapped
By implacable Death
To vanish forever
Into the dark pall mortal cloud
Take my vow I give to thee
Shall I than rest in peace
I shall reveal to thee
My terrors of the grave
I fear the transfer of love
That binds us now so tightly
To some outer mundane maiden
A daughter of the harlot Eve
Don’t unravel most holy bonds
Of my love to thee, swear to me
Than shalt I fall asleep
In the bosom of the vale
Quietly and comfortably
Nether in my coffin bed
My decaying lifeless body
Shall release its atoms
Nurturing the valley
There forever shall I live on
Take heed of this solemn vow
I pray don’t prove me recreant
An invoked curse would befall thee
Vengeance of great dreaded horror”
I fell to the ground prostrate on bended knees
I held her fragile pale alabaster hands
Bedewed with my passionately burning tears
Kissing, adoring them and holding them to my heart
May hell and all its devils unleash at my soul
If ever infidelity insults thee
To besot another daughter of Earth’s denizen
Never would I darest be base enough!
I seal thy pious vow, thou hast my word
With the valley’s Shekhina as my witness
“Take this ring, put it upon thy finger
Over thee my spirit shall watch
Though departed by Azrael from thee
My ring shall shine bright and strong
With gleaming crystalline light
Beaming from my luminous eyes
To trust and lead thus aright
If benighted in hopeless sorrow
A child grows in me
The fruit of what is thy and mines
The testimony of our love
Hastily bring me to bed
This creature that grows in my womb
That kicks in wild desire
For life she writhes most convulsive
As mine is fleeing away”
With these last words upon her lips I took the ring
She held me dearly tight and her lustrous eyes closed
Sorrow and grief crushed me to dust
For what am I without her
A mere sheep lost from the flock
An abandoned infant
Groping on the street corner
Always resigning myself to her
Guided by her supremacy
A benighted child on love
She did not forget her vow
Her presence I felt ubiquitous
In the scrutiny of stars
Soft sighs blowing in the wind
Her murmurs in the nights sky
Filling the evening fragrant air
With censers of her perfume
Her spiritual kisses whilst asleep
She breathed her last
Her child a daughter lived
7. Born from a Womb of Macabre
Years passed and the child grew in such a strange stature
Almost in perfect resemblance of her departed
I loved her fervently more than I believed possible
She was possessed with the most dazzling rarest beauty
A divine creature with a physiognomy of an angel
Painted with the virginal innocence of Love and Grace
Her large luminous gazelle eyes
With a seraphim brightness
Orbs with a hue of the pale moon
Beaming coldly in the night sky
Peering into the vast profound depths of those divine orbs
Sleepless nights have I pondered to fathom its expressions!
In vain I struggled to grasp the sentiments it aroused
Like Arcturus and I the passionest of astrologers
Infinite meaning that start the heart of the lonely poet
That wreak such havoc in me and defy the creed of love
Her eyes tinged with sadness
Loveliness inducing sorrow
Grief that merely heightens her beauty
A doleful air that brims with tears
That prostrates even the dauntless
A cherished Michelangelo portrait
The lovely ‘Suffering Virgins’
Resembling her melancholy dead
My pure affection overshadowed
With swept clouds of gloom and horror
Alas how she rakes up from the grave!
My beloved buried dead of Ella
What fiend urges me to disturb her peace?
Day and night cypress trees droop over me
Just darkness of Ella’s death in my view
Searing pain I could no longer hide
She was born from a Womb of Macabre
I longed to fill the void within my heart
To the love before filled to overflow
The searing pain of my entombed Ella
Memories through our daughter Angela
I left the recesses of the vale
Forever to the outside world
To kill the worm that eats on my despair
In the vices of man’s evil cities
I have been led astray from the pure hearted love of Ella
To the impure air I breathed contaminating my heart
Where evil vice rejoices of its triumphs over virtue
I have fallen into its inescapable hidden trap
A haven of all malicious vice and debauchery
Surrendering as a slave into its corrupted power
The city bewildered and intoxicated my brain
Ella and the Valley blotted out from my recollection
Combustible desires never being satisfied
The more I fall in raging lust the more it stokes up in me
My senses filled with a fervor, an ecstasy of delights
Indescribable sensations of beauty that unman me
Tormented with sensual carnal ardent appetites
Bedding a multitude of perfidious wanton women
Ignoble temptations gratifying my stormy senses
She devils entangling me into their webs of pleasure
Midst the delirium of intoxicated fervor
There I have been acquainted with my seductress Hilda
She drew me on my knees by impulse with her infernal arts
She pierced my heart enthralled with passion with her divine powers
I awoke from profound slumber like that after death
From heaven above a spiritual voice of beauty and woe
To whom I cruelly forsaken the one that always loved me
Blew in gusty moans cold as icy Northern winds to my ears
“Dirty cunt fucker is this the way you regard my vow
Miserable unfeeling wretch my heart you cruelly dispose
You gave me your word and heart you would never deceive me
Robbed me of my honor blackguard with hateful rivals
Of perfidious creatures defiling my womanly graces
With moralities of inflaming vice of debaucheries
Every lavished moment spent with her mistress Hilda
Pangs of thrusted daggers shafting into my heart
The most holy bonds of the nature of love unraveled
I will use the torch of love to exact my vengeance
It would mean shedding blood to those of your precious passions
Mark my words my modified passions will be terrible”
On a crisp dull grey autumn day
Where clouds hung oppressively low in the heavens
There stood the melancholy castle
In the most remote portions of Northern France
Where it suffered utter abandonment
By seclusion from its unsocial regions
This is where we where driven
Me and my successor Hilda
Of the unforgotten Ella
Where we wed in the candled chamber altar
That lay in one of the highest castle turrets
Near the brazen bells of the belfry
After the nightmares that racked my soul
That resounded coldly to my ears
Shaking it of in vain from my spirit
A veil of sinking gloom hung over
With an affinity of its own
Pervading all the castle’s landscape
A vapor not that of earths air
But deep stern sorrowful atmosphere
Beyond the altar chamber there pursued
The ever accursed bridal chamber
That lay beneath the belfry apartment
Where we passed the hours of our marriage
Upon the vast walls and to the floor
Hung draperies of the thickest of black
Restlessly rustling like grotesque ghostly forms
From currents of wind blowing behind
An immense window singly tainted
With an appalling darkly blood color
That the rays of the moon streaming through it
Lit the room in a ghastly luster
A boding evil lurked in this chamber
It was all around stifling the air
In the goblets and wine we drank
Upon the ebony bed and sable curtains
Candle flames that illumined the room
In motionless long slender pallid lights
Which its lustre cast creeping shadows
Following the runic ‘La Danse Macabre’
Glancing into the cracked ebon mirror
Influenced by the rooms monstrosities
Forms lusters of most extreme terror
A diseased distorted deadly frame
The castles black pestilence
Grew upon me driving me mad
I began to loathe my wife Hilda
With a hatred not of a man but a demon
For stealing me away from Ella
I cursed all the earth elements
I longed in ardor to restore her
To the pathway she has abandoned
This malady that buried me in darkness
Made me shun even my daughter
My dearly loved sweet child Angela!
Whom sweated Ella profusely
The castle of gloom seized solely not I
Oppressing Hilda with its malady
She was a bounden slave to its terrors
She succumbed gradually wasting away
Her cadaverous complexion awed me
The ghastly pallor of her skin
Lips shrunken with a deathlike curve
Her hair unheeded and disheveled
Never was sorrow more expressive!
I pitied her state of suffering
Bitterly did I attempt to cheer her
Proved me fruitless against the black scourge
She spoke of abnormal motions
Sounds, shadows, and footsteps midst the chamber
Specially of an angelic shadow
Faintly floating midst the dark chamber
An affrighted female shriek pierced my ears
Rang and echoed throughout the castle
From the bridal chamber thither I rushed
Headlong I plunged into the horror
Alas the horror beheld before me!
My hand falters to inscribe the details
Satanic serpents lend me thy fangs
To use its glistening venom as my ink
Angela bore a dagger dripping blood
Over the death bed where laid the corpse
Of Hilda brutally struck six times
Bloody wounds spilling pon the velvet covers
Angela with feeble steps advanced to me
She gazed up to me with her glassy eyes
Coldly responding ‘I am here father’
Thus drew the dagger into her heart
Merciless god I cursed!
I flung myself on her bleeding corpse
Attempting to revive her soul
My lips on hers pumping her bosom
‘Did you deserve to die in such youth?
I would of gave my life to hers if I could
Once again my hands must dig the grave’
Alas my efforts where all in vain
What fell from her delicate hands
Paralyzed my brain to stone
A tumult of disorders rushed my thoughts
It was the long lost ring of Ella!
A heap of sorrows crushed me
The blood ceased to course in my veins
Racked with a thousand more cuts
Of poisonous arrows raining from heaven
The sky a funeral pall curtain
Mother natures mourning dress
Blankets the castle of gloom
With stifling air of desolation
Lightning lights the sky and furrows the clouds
Shaking with the crashing sounds of thunder
The belfry bells rang their funeral dirges
Amplifying the scene of utter horror
My tears of blood fall so bitterly
Thorns of remorse grow even sharper
Neither my new pleasure nor Hilda
Where I languished in her arms in regret
Can replace thou my dearest love Ella
Never was a soul refined like thee
With so much favor harbored
In the bosom of thy embrace
I wish to revive thy wounds caused by my wrongs
My blood must be spilled with Angela’s
See my repent thou wilst be avenged!
Thrice I drove the dagger into my body
The blood spurted from my entrails
And coursed over Angela’s bloody corpse
Gathering my remaining strength
I pressed her cheek with a final kiss
Clasped her to me in one hand
And the other the ring which brightly shined
With an unbreakable strength
Of the stinging darts of Cupid
Death’s Shadow spread over me
Twisted features of love and despair
The vice of mans’ evil cities
Cast me into an abyss of hell
My peace hast finally been found
In the darkness of the grave
Denied to me in my earths life
At last Ella’s vengeance slaked
Reunited to her bosom
Eternally in a better world
